Malaysia's front liners are national heroes today (and rightly so!) because of the deep sacrifices they have made for our nation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many are working long hours, exposing themselves to the risk of infection, barely getting any sleep and even forced to stay away from loved ones so they don't pass the virus on to their families.

Dr Hazli Sufian graduated from National University of Ireland Galway in 2007 and completed his Doctor of Orthopaedic And Traumatology in 2016 from National University of Malaysia (UKM). He then served in one of the busiest hospital in Klang Valley, Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang (HTAR) as an Orthopaedic surgeon dealing with Trauma, Arthroplasty and Spine cases. In 2018, he pursued his Fellowship training in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in Schwandorf, Germany. He is a certified medical impairment assessor (CMIA) and was involved in multiple medical boards in assessing disability and compensations. He received "Excellent Service Award" from JKN Selangor twice, once in 2012 and another in 2017. He was an honorary lecturer for Management Science University (MSU) from 2016 to 2019. He is a member of Malaysia Orthopaedic Association (MOA), Malaysian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons (MSHKS), Malaysian Medical Council (MMA) and AO Trauma. His area of interest is injuries around the knee and hip, particularly knee and hip joint replacements, minimal invasive trauma surgeries as well as Regenerative Medicine involving prolotherapy, perineural, PRP and stem cells injection.
